Trance festivals don’t come any more euphoric than the ones we’ve listed below! These Trance music events from around the world lead the way for what a Trance festival can be, with cutting edge laser shows, and a mountain of Trance DJ’s headlining.

Where: Worldwide

When it comes to Trance Music Events, they don’t come much larger than A State of Trance! Hosted by Trance icon Armin Van Buuren and taking it’s name from the global hit radio show ASOT, this mix of large scale Trance Festivals and events take clubbing to a whole new level. From intense pyrotechnics, to cutting edge light / laser shows and a plethora of world class Trance artists; A State of Trance is a Trance music event not to be missed, and can be found worldwide.

Where: Zurich, Switzerland

Since 1992 the streets of Zurich, Switzerland have been flooded year after year with the sound of electronic music. Attracting people from across the world, Street Parade today plays hosts to over a million (YES A MILLION) party goers looking enjoy anything from Trance music to Techno, to Hardstyle and Psytrance. Trance music events don’t come bigger than this! Street Parade is more known for its Techno than Trance but has added more Trance artists to lineup up each year. Street Parade is a free event throughout the streets of Zurich each year; and although free, the event lineup boasts the biggest names in electronic music. If you’re looking for the ultimate party in sun then Street Parade is one to put on the clubbing bucket list!

Touted as “Your Trance Destination”, this festival is a sub property by festival giant Insomniac who is best known for EDC. Apart from hosting a stage at the premier festival, Dreamstate also hosts it’s stand-alone festival all across the USA and has recently branched out to Europe as well. The inspiration to start off this festival came about when Jeff Ryan saw a trending trance hashtag and saw how powerful and dedicated the trance community is. There has been no stopping ever since and this festival grew to gain the reputation of being one of the best in the world.

Where: Prague, Czech Republic

Transmission Festival is a breathtaking dance event whose uniqueness lies in the perfect combination of electronic dance music, high quality equipment, special effects, live dancers’ performances and special stage design. Together they create an unforgettable experience.

Transmission is currently considered one of the best indoor dance events in the world. Every year, it attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world to its home base – Prague’s O2 arena. Since 2014, Transmission has been expanding abroad as well as on three continents: Europe, Australia and Asia. Transmission’s musical style is primarily trance, progressive trance, tech trance and psytrance.

Asia’s biggest Trance festival by the beach! Think sea, sun, sand and a nice cool beverage in your hand. It’s sunny down in Phuket and everyone is here for a good time. What better way to spend the holidays than on a secluded beachfront listening with trance? Come join us to witness Trance music in one of the most beautiful places in Asia and brush shoulders with the world’s most iconic Trance DJs.


Where: Boom, Belgium

Obviously there’s a whole lot more going on at Tomorrowland than just trance, with stages and areas for most conceivable dance music genres. But amongst all that, there’s no shortage of big names from the scene, with Armin’s iconic A State of Trance brand hosting its very own stage in 2017.

Where: United Kingdom

As one of the biggest dance music festivals in the U.K., Creamfields started as an offshoot from a Liverpool nightclub before becoming one of the best known music events across Europe. Held annually since 2010, Creamfields has travelled the world and back. Expect all genres of dance music with striking light displays, fireworks and a camping village… We’ve hosted our very own Armada stage on Creamfields in the past, but even when we didn’t, there would still be a stage dedicated to Trance music. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Where: Ibiza

Captured Festival is Ibiza’s first and only multi-arena trance and progressive-orientated outdoor event, taking over Ibiza’s coolest and most unique venue, Gala Night (aka The old Abandoned Zoo).

Ibiza’s only outdoor trance festival will take place on Sunday 6th September 2015. The venue is Benimussa Park, the location that Zoo Project uses for its weekly daytime parties – so if you’re looking for a festival atmosphere and a chance to get out and experience something different, don’t pass up the opportunity! The isolated, leafy setting of Benimussa park will provide the perfect idyllic location in which to soak up the euphoric trance vibes with a friendly and dedicated crowd.

Where: Ibiza

Ultra Europe returns in July 2020, once again taking over the Croatian city of Split for another week of EDM, house, techno and trance parties.

The main festival takes place inside Split’s Mladeži park, performing under Ultra’s characteristic production, featuring almighty firework displays, smoke cannons and more. Previous lineups have included Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and The Chainsmokers.

Beyond the park, Ultra Europe also hosts a selection of other parties in what is known as Destination Ultra, including Ultra Beach on the island of Hvar, a Regatta beach party on Brač and a number of parties hosted by Resistance inside beach clubs and fortresses.

OZORA Festival

Where: Dádpuszta, Hungary

Born out of a party to celebrate the solar eclipse of 1999, Hungarian psytrance gathering OZORA has become one of the biggest and most popular of its kind anywhere in the world. Held over seven days, the festival creates a haven for like-minded individuals looking to share in unforgettable experiences.

New Horizons Festival

Where: Nürburg, Germany

A brand new festival for 2017, New Horizons seeks to offer the experience of seven different festivals in once place, with dedicated areas created specifically for the genre on display. Trancetonia and the Garden of Goa are two of these areas, with each offering a hugely impressive lineup packed with the respective scene’s biggest names.
